Many of us like to eat simply boiled shrimp because it is tasty, easy and fast. But if you want to surprise your relatives or guests with something, then you can’t imagine a better way than to cook this product unusually, for example, in the Chinese or Japanese style. Chinese and Japanese cuisine fell in love with us due to unpleasant tastes – a combination of sweet and sour, spicy, spicy taste.

Japanese Style Shrimp
To prepare this amazing dish, you will need a wok pan, as it will allow the shrimp to warm up evenly and quickly, soak in the sauce and, at the same time, remain tender.
Before you start cooking, prepare the ingredients:
- 26.5 oz or 750 g of peeled shrimp
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 chili pepper
- 2 tablespoons of ginger
- 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of starch.
Grind the garlic and ginger root, cut the chili into strips. Fry the resulting mixture in a pan for no more than 2 minutes. Add peeled shrimp to the pan, shrimp tails can be left to make it convenient to take them and fry for another 3-4 minutes. Add rice vinegar, soy sauce, sugar. Dilute starch with a tablespoon of water and app it into the dish.
Cook until the sauce thickens, after which you can immediately serve it.
Chinese Style Shrimp
Chinese cuisine is rich in spices and flavors. Traditional Chinese dishes are not always possible to truly taste the first time, because they are very specific and extraordinary.
To prepare 1 serving of this dish, you will need the following ingredients:
- 8 king shrimp
- 3.5 oz (100 g) of lard
- 1/2 cup of meat broth
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of soy sauce
- 1.8 oz or 50 g of tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon of sherry
- 1 teaspoon of onion
- 2/3 teaspoon of ginger
- 1 tablespoon of starch
- 1 teaspoon of salt.
Rinse and clean the shrimp. Finely chop the ginger and onion. Heat lard in a pan, then remove the greaves. In the resulting fat, put ginger and onions, fry for 1 minute. Add shrimp and fry quickly, stirring. Pour the wine into the pan and cover, so that the shrimps are slightly stewed.
Dissolve the salt and sugar in the broth and pour the mixture into a shrimp pan. Bring the dish to a boil, then reduce the heat, cover and let simmer for 3 minutes. Add soy sauce and tomato paste. Increase the heat a little and wait until the sauce thickens. Dilute starch in a tablespoon of water and add it to the dish. Stir by turning the shrimp several times until the sauce acquires the consistency of jelly.

Tiger Shrimp in Garlic Oil
This simple recipe for shrimp will allow you to cook a delicious dish that everyone loves.
To prepare it you will not need many ingredients:
- 35.3 oz (1000 g) of tiger prawns
- 2 limes
- 1.8 oz (50 g) of butter
- Bunch of parsley
- 2 – 3 cloves of garlic
- 0.28 oz or 8 g of chili peppers
- Salt and pepper.
Combine oil, garlic, chili, and parsley. You should get a mixture that has more greens than oil. If there is too much oil, add more greens. Put the mixture in the refrigerator. Boil shrimps for one minute in salted water with a leaf of lime. But not longer than 1 minute, because then the shrimp will go to the pan and will be cooked there.
Cut the boiled shrimp with a knife exactly in the center from the outside of the carapace. Shrimp do not need to be cleaned. Open the cut shell in the shape of a “butterfly” to expose the meat. Season the meat with salt and pepper. Moisten with lime juice.
Remove the garlic-oil mixture from the refrigerator and distribute generously over the inside of the shrimp. Place the shrimp in a hot skillet. You do not need to add oil to the pan. As soon as the shrimp touches the hot surface, the garlic-oil mixture will begin to melt and saturate the shrimp meat. Fry a maximum of two minutes, depending on the size of the shrimp.
Before serving, pour shrimp with garlic butter melted in a pan and garnish with lime slices.
Shrimp Salad with Yogurt
Light vegetable salad with shrimp seasoned with yogurt will pleasantly surprise your loved ones. For the dressing, choose natural, without additives yogurt (Greek or Bulgarian), mix with finely chopped herbs and season with salt. Insist salad after adding dressing is not necessary. Better to eat right away.
To cook according to this simple recipe for shrimp, you will need:
- 10.6 oz or 300 g of shell shrimp
- Salad mixture (iceberg, freeze, etc.)
- 2 fresh cucumbers
- 2 fresh tomatoes
- 8.8 oz (250 g) of natural yogurt, without additives
- Fresh herbs (parsley, dill, etc.)
Boil salted water, put shrimp and cook until cooked. Then peel the shrimp. Cut the peel from the cucumbers and cut into thin rings. Cut tomatoes into thin half-rings. Put greens and vegetables in a salad bowl. Add boiled shrimp and mix all the foods. For the dressing, mix yogurt with finely chopped herbs, season with salt. Pour the salad with yogurt dressing and serve immediately.
