To prepare this dish you will need the following products: 7 oz or 200 g of carp, 1.4 oz (40 g) of vegetable oil, 0.7 oz (20 g) of onion, 0.10 oz (3 g) of parsley, 2.11 oz (60 g) of flour, 2.8 oz (80 g) of walnuts, black pepper, salt.

Cut off the washed scales and washed carp on the back, remove the vertebral bones, gut through this hole, then rinse. Prepare the filling from sauteed onions, parsley, crushed walnuts. Add black pepper and salt. Fill the fish with this mixture.

Trout fillet should be thoroughly washed, folded in a glass bowl, poured with lemon juice, sprinkled with salt and pepper and left in the cold for 20 minutes.

Place the washed and dried dill, garlic cloves in a blender bowl, pour in olive oil and mix everything in a homogeneous mass. Fry the trout in a pan with heated oil on both sides until golden brown, put on warmed plates, pour in green sauce and garnish with grated lemon peel.

Greek Baked Fish With Tomatoes

Let’s start to cook according to this simple recipe for fish. You can use marine fish but not only. River fish is also great for cooking. The most popular fish varieties used for this dish are salmon, trout, halibut, bream, cod, pike perch, mackerel or carp. It is recommended to take fish with almost no bones. An ideal option would be to buy a ready-made fillet.


For 5 servings you will need:

  • 28.2 oz (800 g) of fish fillet
  • 7 oz or 200 g of sour cream
  • 2.82. oz (80 g) of hard cheese
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 large tomato
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt, pepper, spices to taste.


Wash the fish fillet, dry it carefully with a paper towel and cut into small portioned pieces about 3.94 in or 10 cm wide. Then salt, add a little black pepper and sprinkle lightly with lemon juice.

For the sauce, mix sour cream, rub a portion of the cheese on a fine grater, chop the garlic, salt, add the pepper and seasonings. You can take Provencal herbs, rosemary, thyme or a ready-made mixture for fish. But do not get carried away too much: the fish should turn out to be quite tender with a light garlic hue, and an abundance of seasonings can interrupt the delicate taste and aroma.

Cut the tomatoes into thin circles, rub the rest of the cheese on a coarse grater. Pieces of fish fillet are placed in a glass or ceramic form, then generously add the sauce and distribute it over the entire surface. Put tomatoes on top and sprinkle everything with cheese and breadcrumbs to form a crispy golden crust.

Now we put the form with our fish in the oven, preheated to 356 °F or 180 °C. The baking time is about half an hour. As a result, the fish is juicy, with a golden crust and a stunning aroma. Arrange on plates, garnish with a sprig of dill, rosemary or basil and serve with rice, potatoes, vegetable salads or stews.

Grilled Fish with Eggplant

  • 800 g of any sea fish
  • 4 eggplant
  • 2-3 tomatoes
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 lemon
  • thyme, basil
  • flour
  • salt and pepper
  • butter.


Wash the fish, chop, salt, and pepper, sprinkle with lemon juice. Cut the eggplant in half, add salt and bake on the grill.

Melt the butter in a pan, add two pinches of flour and finely chopped garlic, as well as grated fresh tomatoes. Stew vegetables, add finely chopped basil. Pour baked eggplant with sauce and serve with fish.
