How To Make Canned Refried Beans Thinner?

Sometimes, the prepared beans are pretty thicker than your liking but don’t worry as you can totally fix it with only some simple steps:

Ingredients

  • A can refried beans
  • ½ cup of liquid (water, milk or broth)

Tools

  • A saucepan
  • A spoon

Instruction

  1. Pour the entire can of refried beans to a saucepan over medium-low heat
  2. Stir in the prepared liquid 
  3. Simmer for about 2 minutes until the consistency is as desired 
  4. Remove the pan from the heat and serve

Notes

  • It’s recommended to add a little liquid at one time to prevent turning the beans too runny
  • Season spices to taste if as adding liquid can make the beans bland
