Ingredients

  • 1 can ​of canned chicken (about 12 oz)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp. of lemon juice
  • 1 ½ cups of grated cheese
  • 2 stalks celery (chopped)
  • 1 apple (finely chopped)
  • 12 slices whole-wheat bread​
  • 1/4 cup softened butter

Tools

  • A skillet
  • A bowl
  • A spoon or spatula

Instruction

  1. Combine the chicken, mayonnaise, lemon juice, grated cheese, celery, and apple in a bowl 
  2. Make sandwiches with the bread. Then spread the outsides of the sandwiches with the softened butter
  3. Grill the sandwiches in the skillet over medium heat until golden and the cheese is melted (about 3 to 5 minutes per side) 
  4. Stuff the sandwiches with the prepared mixture of the filling and serve

Notes

  • Using a nonstick skillet to prevent the sandwichs from sticking
  • You can change the ingredients per your liking to make the filling of the sandwichs
